For her
a letter to her.
You are a mother. You find the photographer, book the sessions, and make sure the kids (and of course your husband) all look their best. All to capture just a glimpse in time to remember their sweet little faces that are growing by the minute. You are stressed and overstimulated and people keep telling you that this time goes by all too fast so you better soak it in before it is too late. You lose a part of yourself in raising those little miracles but you love the time you have and wish it would never pass.
You are in between, figuring out who you are and who God is making you to be. You are unsure of yourself and are still learning to love the person that is inside of you- the soul that is bursting at the seams to show the world, but trapped by insecurity and fear of others opinions. Growing in confidence is hard.
You are full of wisdom and grace. You have had a lot of time to grow, learn, to make mistakes and do it better next time. Yet, all of this experience and wisdom seems to have come with these imperfections that creep up with time. You do not feel as lively as you once did but you are proud of the things that you have given this world.
You are a woman. And being a woman is beautiful yet so challenging sometimes. No matter what season of life you are in, your beauty is ravishing. Your wisdom is attractive. Take confidence in knowing that you are exactly who God made you to be. A woman, a wife, a mother, a lover, a friend, a beautiful soul. Let me come alongside you and encourage you to love how God designed you-physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Let me capture the essence of your singlehood, the start of your forever with your significant other, your motherhood, and friendship. Every season is so beautiful.
